NOTHING ELSE LIKE IT

We live in a world today where there seems to be a number of choices when it comes to gods (little 'g'). Man for centuries has been creating his own ideas for ways to worship. On those ideas he has many times developed his own god or religion. Many, who, in there own lives, had been searching spiritually, came to the point of finding his ideas intriguing or even plausible and so begin a new wave of religious activity .This is something that is not new even to the 21st century.

If man were to take an honest look at these so-called "new" religions, and then consider the reality of the true God of the universe, they would see that there is truly 'Nothing else like it'.

The Bible, God's Word, is either true to the last letter, or the greatest lie from a twisted mind concocted to deceive all humanity .The Bible states many times that there is 'only one God' and all other 'gods' are false and do not lead man to true salvation.

We cannot claim to believe the Word of God as it is written and at the same time accept or believe some other religious teaching that is not inspired of God. Please allow me to share with you for the next few minutes the incomparable Christ of The Holy Word of God that no other 'god' can promise or to which they can lay claim.

He was and remains unique in many ways even to this day. He came from the bosom of The Father to the bosom of a woman. He became the son of man that we might become the sons of God. He put on humanity that we might put on His divinity .He came from heaven to earth that we might go from earth to heaven. He was born contrary to nature so we might be reborn contrary to the nature of man. Only once did He ever cross the boundaries of His own small country, yet His life has affected every nation on earth. He healed many without medicine, and made no charge for His services. He never wrote a book, yet all the libraries of the world could not contain all the books that could be written about Him.

He never wrote a song and yet has provided the themes for more songs than all the earthly writers combined. He never founded a college yet all the schools of earth have not had the students that have sat at His feet. Herod could not kill Him; Satan could not seduce Him; death could not destroy Him; and the grave could not hold Him. Great men have made great claims over the centuries and have died and been forgotten; yet He lives on. The Christ of The Word of God is THE ONLY BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER. There is NO other 'god'. He deserves our very best because He gave His very best to us. He is truly unique and deserves our greatest praise.
